This program is managed by the Regional Universities Indonesian Language Initiative (RUILI), a consortium of four Australian Universities: Charles Darwin University (CDU), University of New England (UNE), University of the Sunshine Coast (USC), and the University of Tasmania (UTAS), with local Indonesian partners the Mataram Lingua Franca Institute (MLFI) in Mataram, Lombok, and Nusa Cendana University (UNDANA) in Kupang, West Timor.
RUILI has offered Intensive Indonesian Language and Cultural Program with local partners the Mataram Lingua Franca Institute (MLFI) in Mataram, Lombok (since 2007) and Nusa Cendana University (UNDANA) in Kupang, West Timor (since 2014). Lecturers from the four Australian universities attend as Australian Resident Directors in each program, and RUILI members take it in turns to be the administrative hub.
